MOMOTARO!

This is a very very cool youtube poop video done by nuthacker. I don't know how he did it but it's uber cute with clips from Amada Mario and some catchy background beat that he must've made:

...Just wanted to make sure I gave him kudos :)

Say, you're really quite good. Where can I see more of your stuff? Are you working anywhere?

Thanks! And not yet...I hope to get an illustrator job by this fall or winter, and i just finished designing a website so once I get the memory to load it onto my computer...blah, blah, blah. I hope that gets me more freelance jobs. But thanks so much!

P.S. I didn't do the momotaro vid, some finnish guy did it...I WISH I did it :)

Yeah, I knew you didn't do the vid, but I checked out your stuff on your myspace page and on deviant art.

You really are very good. I also looked at the .pdf file of that American Virgin comic. It's pretty intense, isn't it? What do you think about it, other than being "absoultely smitten"?

Well I think that it raises a lot of questions. I don't know if the writer is a Christian and he wanted to talk about the struggles of trying to save yourself for marriage (because it is very hard, especially today) or if he's just an observer of the beliefs that we as Christians live by. Either or, I think that it's written very well and it is a good way to show others that aren't Christian that we're human beings with real struggles, real conflict and we don't live in some perfect bubble as some people think we do. As for the profanity, honestly speaking I'm a bit torn by it. I'm torn because I think the writing is superb, but on the other hand...how does God feel about that? I don't really know. But, I really do enjoy reading it, I love the storyline, love the grit, and I love the artwork. And...a girl did the artwork (how cool is that)! I feel like I can really relate to the main character because me, being a Christian, deal with a lot of these issues with trying to stay pure.

How do you feel about it?
